Laptop Sticker of Awesome

Six months ago, we went to our ad agency with a challenge: design a killer ad that would get us noticed, but don’t talk about price and quality. Even though we lead in both categories, we felt that those concepts were being overused in advertising. We wanted them to creating something amazing, something that would push the boundaries.
They stepped up with an ad that featured some brilliant copywriting, but the type was set so tightly that it was almost unreadable. It didn’t use photographs. It didn’t have our URL, or our phone number. They had pushed the boundaries beyond our comfort zone.
Our team was divided - some thought that the text was too controversial. Some thought that it needed to have photographs. Others loved the tone and brilliance of advertising a stock photo company without stock photos. We decided to take a leap and green light the campaign.
Just a few months ago, our ad agency won a One Show Pencil Award for their amazing work on this campaign. And the campaign has grown on us so much, that we had a few of them converted into laptop stickers. It’s great to see people’s reactions after they stare at our computers for a few minutes.
